The Mandrake Hotel Hosted The Second Edition of Minor Attractions – 8th to 13th October, 2024
The Mandrake was pleased to announce that the award-winning five-star boutique hotel hosted the second edition of the alternative art fair Minor Attractions, which ran from 8th to 13th October 2024, in parallel to Frieze London.
Making use of eight terrace bedrooms and hotel-wide common areas as gallery booths and exhibition spaces, the program followed in the footsteps of immersive concepts such as Loop Barcelona, Felix Art Fair, Basel Social Club and Spring/Break.

Minor Attractions Programme 2024
After a hugely successful first year, Minor Attractions again offered a robust performance and events program, platforming emerging local talent in the worlds of performance art, music and literature. Leveraging London’s stature as a titan of global culture, the fair created a space that was open to all and free of charge, established by emerging and established galleries alike, to take centre stage for London’s Art Week.
About Minor Attractions
Founded in 2023 by Jacob Barnes (Season 4 Episode 6, Curatorial Affairs) and Jonny Tanna (Harlesden High Street), Minor Attractions invites global commercial galleries and not-for-profit artistic spaces to present work in a space where art, discourse and nightlife converge. This setting allows the international collectors descending upon the city for the industry’s biggest week to mingle with its most exciting gallerists and artists in a fresh and intimate context.
